Hi. I believe I have a similar situation. I have an original oil painting signed P. Henry. The P has an extension of the vertical line above where the curve of the right side of the P joins the vertical. The h in henry is lower case. The y in henry has a large "fishhook" shape at the bottom.

I could not locate an artist other than Paul Henry of any reknown. As you probably have found also, if what I have is a Paul Henry, it is likely valuable.
