Hi guys, I've just acquired a Suzuki Fronte 1971 model with a 3cylinder 500cc two stroke engine. It had been standing around for two years or more without the engine having been started.

Today I fitted a new battery & put a 40:1 fuel/twostroke oil mix in the tank. After a few attempts, the engine will start en them simply fade out.It starts every time and then almost immediately dies.

I suspect that the old fuel might have formed gunk in the three carburettors and thus need to know how to remove, strip down, clean & replace them please?

All other advice will be highly appreciated!
