Hi folks. I have a question about my Balckhawk chambered in .30 carbine. I looked at Ruger's website and found their serial number range for this piece, however, my piece doesn't match with the published series. It should have a dash number...like 50-XXXXX, however, my gun is numbered XX80 with no dash. The piece looks to be all origional except for the grips. Also, it does have the 7 1/2" barel which is standard for the .30 carbine. One last thing about this gun...the cartridge fits sloppy in the cylinder except for the bullet itself which seats into a land area at the end of the cylinder bore. Can you provide some insight into the serial number issue and also the cylinder to round fit. I would be grateful for any insight.
