I was an avid trainspotter in the late 50's early 60's and at the time I was living in Portsmouth.
Two questions:
1) I note the 4CEP units were built in the time period but primarily for use in Kent. Were these units confined to that area or were they used on the lines down from Waterloo into Hampshire as well.
2) The first units I can see were built in 1958 and presumably would have been all BR Green. Subsequently half yellow panels were painted on the front. I understand this was started in 1962 but did this extend across the whole group and over what period was this finished.
I'm particularly interested from the position of unit 7105.
