Remote sensing

Hi all,

I have equation about MODIS data.
I have data of MODIS product as:
MOD13Q1.A2011177.h08v05.005.2011194102907.hdf

I knew some information about MODIS data above as

MOD13Q1 - Product Short Name
A2011177 - Julian Date of Acquisition (A-YYYYDDD)
h08v05 - Tile Identifier (horizontalXXverticalYY)
005 - Collection Version
2011194102907- Julian Date of Production (YYYYDDDHHMMSS)
hdf - Data Format (HDF-EOS)

but what i cannot know is the date (i mean day, month, year) of that data?!!!

can any one help me and tell me how i can find the date of MODIS data.

Hello guys,

i got the answer from a nice guy. the answer as i got as follows:

2011177 -> 2011, 177 -> 2011, 177 (177 day-of-year = June 26).

The date of acquisition is day-of-year 177, 2011. That would be June 26, 2011.
