Hi all

I am planning to estimate plane-strain fracture toughness of my material based on E1820 with using one sample. There are two procedures in this standard: 1) the basic method & 2) the resistance curve method. I am looking for J1c and not R-curve. Do you know if it is possible to use resistance curve method to get the plane-strain fracture toughness?
