Hi, I notice that the SS Orsova was part of the Orient shipping line. My late father, Frank Burt, served on the Orsova when it sailed from Tilbury on September 15,1954 to take the England cricket team to Australia for the 1954-55 Ashes tour. Does anyone have any information about that trip and where it may have stopped on the way, how long etc. Any information would be gratefully received, I'm trying to research my late fathers early life.
