Hi I have a picture of my grandfather ( i think ) in what has been called a Hussars uniform.

I have be also told that the sword he is carrying is a 1908 cavalry trooper sword.

Does this help in dating the picture? is there a time period when Hussars were using this sword?

Unfortunately I do not know which regiment of the Husars the picture belongs to.
