Hi,

I am very much interested in Kiwi fruit and want to grow them in my garden. But I have a problem with the cultivation.

I live in Sri lanka (Asia). The area I live has average temperature of 28C and 200cm-250cm annual rainfall. We never have winter and cold frosts here. Soil is okay.

1). Can I grow kiwi fruit here ? (few trees - NOT for commercial)

2). Is it a must that the kiwi vine requires the cold climate??

I need advice on above questions and more consultation if possible.
