Hope you found the answer....obviously this is not a good place! I asked my question also, and saw that there were no answers to anyone's questions.. so I am assuming this is a bad place and we will all get a virus or something from just being here! Hi, I did actually find out the answer to my own question. Under the "pull out" part of the screen on the player or recorder is a control that says CHARACTER- which you can switch on or off. This will make the timecode appear in a preview window Iif you have a monitor set up) and also on the DVD dub if done straight from the player. There is another switch which allows you to choose between LTC and VTC which is also useful.

Much easier than from DV.

OMG D'Andre! What a huge surprise! How could I ever forget you! DH and I had the best day by the falls taking pics for you! I will be working 10 hrs that day, morning till night, and doubling back for the early morning shift. If you have a choice as to what bridge you cross back into the states, go to the Queenston/Lewiston bridge. That's where I work, the Duty Free store heading back to the States. Lol i have lost your email so i did a web search for bonniebijou..lol I'm so glad i found you! we're prob not gonna go to the falls until saturday-- since we're staying in rochester we will piddle around there friday. I think wade wants to spend at least one night in Toronto. Are you going to be working sunday too? I sooo hope we can meet up somehow. How many bridges are there? and how can we make sure we take the Queenston/Lewiston one?
