Hi, I am a 54 year old female and mother of 4. Around last Christmas I noticed a strange cord shaped crest running through the middle of my cranium splitting the two spheres. The raised shape of the cord also creates two furrow like indents running on either side of cord. I live in Cape Town,SA but think I contracted some low level infection when spending time with my father in the Pulmonary ward in Spain prior to his death. I would very much appreciate the opinion of an expert who might have an idea as to what the strange shape on my skull may be? Thank you.
