Hi All, I an a newbie here and I have a question concerning my Jackson/Charvel Model 3 guitar that I have owned from new since 1986. It is a bit of a mystery to me regarding the actual guitar as I brought it directly from the US exporters to the then new UK importers JHS at the BMF show in 1986 here in the UK. It is a thick bodied Strat style pointy headstock guitar finished in pearlescant white, it has Jackson tuners, Kahler Trem, 1HB bridge and 2x SC in middle and neck positions, 5 way selector and Vol and Tone controls. Now I remember being told by the guys that sold the guitar to me that it was rather special as it had been fitted with a Valley Arts neck, the neck profile is just simply amazing, it is so shallow at both extremes of the range and is silky smooth, Maple with a mahogony board and jumbo frets, to be honest it is to die for and I have never seen or played a guitar with a neck like this, it is, in a word "Awsome" ! My question is simply this, it has the heel plate with the marking PO Box 2344. Fort Worth, TX76113. USA, and I am wondering if this is a genuine Valley Arts neck, the salesman at the time insisted that the 5x guitars that had been shipped over for the BMF in the UK were all made extra special to attract the British into buying the brand, does anyone know if this is true, and if so does this effect the collectabilty and value of this amazing instrument?
cheers
Paul

It is NOT a valley arts neck. Valley Arts is related to samick guitars exclusively. What the salesman told you is crap.
