Hi!
Will there be any more flights for the Multi-Purpose Logistics Modules, Leonardo, Donatello and Rafaello before the Shuttle retires. I ask this because I want to know if in case there will be no flights for the modules after Shuttle, why couldn't the last visiting module be left on the station. The upcoming node 3 for example will have dock port(s) that will not be needed because of the cancellations in the ISS program. One of those ports could house a MPLM. It would make a huge increase to the volume especially when it's not fitted with experimental racks etc. It could be used as a living/sleeping room for the crew or storage room or what ever. There is never too much space in space.
