Hi,

Please tell me if you can what are the terms for animals that (a) defecate anytime anywhere indiscriminately like horses, deer, rodents etc.; and (b) animals in which defecation is, how should I say, saved up and later excreted in mass, like cats, dogs, humans.

No reason in particular for asking other than I am an English teacher who loves words and loves science.
