I'm a Malaysian currently studying in NZ.My family(wife & 2 children, son age 16(finished Form 5(2009)in M'sia) & daughter age 15(currently studying Form 5 in M'sia) will be coming to NZ by end March 2010. As I understand & under NZ Immigration policy, my wife qualifies for an Open Work Permit(OWP) & therefore under her OWP, both our children qualify for Student Visas in NZ for the currency of my Student Permit(1 year + 2 years).

Further the INZ policy allows & reconiznes dependant children of work permit holders as domestic students for the purpose of all course fees for the period of the parent's work permit.

Kindly advise on my children's entry requirements as well as documents necessary for their enrollment in your esteemed school.

Hi Rajasundram,

I just noticed that you are looking for admission in the Mt. Roskill Grammar School. I am not an expert on the Immigration policy, etc. However, if you want the admission in the school, one of the criteria is that you should be living in the designated school zone. I am a Property Consultant and a Licensed Real Estate Person. I have properties that you can either buy or rent in the school zone so that the admission to Mt. Roskill Grammar School is automatic.
