Hi
I am working on coffee roasters and now i am stuck with the calculations for cooling of roasted coffee beans.
Earlier we had 60 kg of roasted coffee spread over an area of 0.176 m^2 and a height of 0.113 m. this was then cooled by air sucked via a fan below the beans. Now we want to cool 120 kg of roasted coffee beans in a similar fashion. I want to know apart from increasing the quantity of air should i proportionately increase the area and height of coffee beans or can i just randomly design by just considering the total volume?
Thanks in advance
