Hey.

I am learning fuzzy logic. But I am too confused with this ranking method concept. How is it used in here, how is ranking related to fuzzy logic.
How weights n ranks are decided......
I quote an example, suppose i have a system which analyses resumes, and gives a prediction on it, that out of 100 resumes, which are more likely to be selected for a particular job.
Say if it is web development job, then system should parse the resume n search for buzzwords like asp.net,php,html, etc. Now as per given requirement, weight should be given to each buzzword, and finally each resume's total weight is evaluated. Now, I don't understand what is this ranking method, n how should this be used.

Hi,

Fuzzy ranking is the extraction of a specific feature from fuzzy sets, and then ranking them based on that feature.

Unfortunately, there is no simple way to answer your questions, simply because there are several fuzzy ranking methods. You simply have to be patient and learn about them.
