Someone out there who knows the story of five black children playing with a makeshift airplane, placed in a tree, there in Calvert around 1933, with their sister inside of the plane. The town people thought the boy, named William Scott, had created a real airplane because he did have the plane equiped with an engine, he called the 'Y'. There was an article in the Calvert Tribune Newspaper and I would like input and/or the article for my family history. Was William invention 'Y' part of the V8 and was William pay? This is the story told in our family.
