Hello to all of you, forgive my broken scholastic English.
my question is the following one:

In which way the nervous system 'understands' in which direction the accomodation has to be done? And how the nervous system, or the interested brain part 'understands' that the accomodation has reached the right measure, in other words the focus is reached?

So, I'm not so interested in the mechanical function, but in the 'software' that allow to acknowledge the reaching of the focus.

All this having in mind that accomodation works also when only an eye 'works' (So the binocular vision is not necessary, even if helpful, probably)
