i want to add a box in network configured with squid proxy and i have read this post on following link

just i want to know that how to configure squid and will it act transparently ..... and it will act like whole caching contents ?

i mean if i download a song next time it will redirect from cache and does not use bandwidth and same happen with youtube .........
