Hello all;

I have just purchased a 1965 Rambler American 440 Hardtop in very nice conditiion, and am interested in finding out about the availability of new or undamaged rear seat belts and the difficulty of installation. I know they were an option, so I assume suitable mounting points exist on the vehicle. A seat belt extender and a right-side rear view mirror in the same style as the (I assume) factory-optional non-remote left side mirror are also things I would be interested in adding.

The car has non-retracting front seat belts, and I know retracting belts were also an option. Are these readily available? While not necessary, they would be a nice addition

Can shoulder belts (from a later AMC product or aftermarket) be properly installed, or is the structure of the roof side rails or area behind the doors not strong enough for effective mounting?
