I agree that our voting system needs work,lots of work!! I personally don't think a popular vote will work anymore.
Concider this.
There are more people on welfare now than ever before.
They will vote to keep their free lunch.
There are more people that don't pay taxes than do.
They like to pay nothing.
There are more people that are on public jobs than ever before.
They won't want to lose their jobs.
Obama plans to allow the District of Columbia, Purto Rico, Illegals and convict's to vote in 2012.
They will vote mostly progressive.
We are having a real problem allowing millitary personel to vote.
They will vote mostly conservative.
Then we have ACORN!!
In short, what we have now is the care-not's are in control of the tax payers. The answer to having a fair election is in the Constitution & the Bill of rights.
We can't Affort to be wrong.
