Hello. This is for men who was a Royal Green Jacket in World War 2. I just want to know if anyone knew John Edward Arthur Jones, born 15.08.1924. He has a sister Jean. He was my grandfather. He sadly passed away on 23rd April 1995 of cancer. As I was only a young girl when he passed, I didn't get the chance to ask him how he felt being in the war and to be honest he didn't really spek to anyone, not even his children about the war. I just want to know really if any of you have a photograph you could show me or tell me a bit about his personality when he served as a Green Jacket. The only thing I could tell you is my mother told me he was only 18 when he went to war and it was in 1942. don't know anything else.
Please help. It would be nice to know someone out there is still here to tell tales about my grandfather.
