Hello Everyone,
I got a problem after the complete installation of Rocks Cluster. After complete installation of frontend and reboot i use insert-ethers in the console and get the screen where it tries to find the connected nodes. The node sends the DHCP request to the frontend but nothing happens after that. Can anyone tell me why does it happen or what special settings do I need so that th frontend can process the DHCP request from the nodes.
P.S. I know that the DHCP request is sent because I see on the monitor when I connect it.

I had that problem. Are you using a switch? If yes, select Ethernet Switches and leave it running for 10 minutes even though it does not display that it found anything. After 10 minutes press F8 to close insert-ethers and then enter insert-ethers once again, this time choosing compute. After that switch on one of the compute nodes (make sure PXE is on or boot the kernel from the CD) and the insert-ethers should recognize the device. After having a * in the brackets, you can switch on another pc. I have a problem after that where it does not install completely.
