I remember watching the OGWT in the 70s with Bob Harris.

there was an American, who had Frank Zappa like facial hair, would wear a white suit, he played the acoustic guitar, usually seated.

He was on a couple or maybe more times.

Any idea who he was, he's always stuck with me.
