I have seen no mention of the late great Terry Nelson aka Omar farouk of Halagala records that started in the early seventies.
He had the only Record manufacturing plant in Guyana and was the the first person to record Neisha Benjamin, actually her first hit "Sandrota" was recorded and produced by terry Nelson himself at his Beterverwagting recording studio.

Not to mention the numerous hit songs that were produced,arranged and sung by the man himself Terry Nelson to name a few:"Love on Saturday night", "Welcome independence to Guyana",Smile Guyana", Big dem seh" and the list goes on
