I got questions about HEC-RAS.
1700 Xs
A Hydrograph of 10 years, Flow Duration 1 day
A barrage at the upstream end
3 tributaries (only water inflow, no sediment because of barrages within)
Appr.300 drediging sites
Appr.100 sites where sediment is added
Question #1:
Is it possible to change the channel uniformly within the moveable bed limits?
Lets say, all points minus 2 inches?
Question #2:
Similar to #1.
Lets say, all points plus 2 inches?
I have to raise the invert because sediment is added to the river in order to stop/minimize erosion.
Adding or removing material from the invert shall take place once a month within the 10-years-hydrograph.
Question #3:
Is it possible to stop the sediment modelling after time-step "N", change something at the channel (raise/lower the culvert), pass the results to time-step "N+1", an restart the sediment modelling again?
