Hello,
I am a new ImageJ user. I am working on dispersal in birds and I have to measures eggs. I am working on photographies.
I open one photo in ImageJ, I convert it to a 8-bit and I define my scale. I adjust the threshold to have a B&W image.
I want to obtain the minimal and the maximal measure of my egg. I "analyze the particle" specifying a size of 50-infinity for my big particle. THe showed outlines seem to be correct :

The results are incomprehensible. It shows a min and max "gray value". I don't understand what are these values. Is it the minimal distance between the two closest point in my egg and the maximal distance between the two farest point in my egg ?
Count Area Mean Min Max Perim

Does anybody could help me ?
Thanks for your help !
