Health Care for the Public

My experience with the Marine Hospitals as an active merchant seaman between the years of 1977 = 1981 proved to me the unquestionable fact that to have your health care assigned to a facility that cared not for your origins or bank account gave someone very good care. The fact that the first thing that Ronald Reagan did when becoming President was to eliminate the remaining Marine/Public Health Hospitals, with no objections from the Democrats, proves that capitalism looks upon public health care like Dracula looks upon daylight.

Ha ha, it's true. But really, you'd think public health care would make the economy stronger, because fewer people would be sick, and they'd all be able to work harder?
