He who shouts at the poor
comes to grief.
god does justice;
he looks after his devotee, who is homoured.
he who is foul-mouthed
dies a wretched death:
he kills himself.
no one may save him.
he is talked ill of
here and hereafter.
god saves his servants,
holding them to his heart.
says nanak, submit yourself to him
and meditate on his word.
