Killing Mr. Griffin

Have you'll noticed how much foreshadowing is in the book? Chapter one talked about the dead bird. This scene/image SCREAMS "SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE!!!" Plus, there is quite a bit about Ophelia. She, like Susan, suffers from unrequited love, but she ends up killing herself. I am wondering if Susan is going to do the same thing. Have you'll noticed other examples of foreshadowing.

I didn't even think about the Ophelia and Susan connection. Ha. But another example of foreshadowing was in chapter four, when Susan says she'd never be happier then she was and that she was right. This hints that something bad will happen to cause her unhappiness or possibly guilt.

Another example, is when Mr. Griffin left that day for work, Mrs. Griffin said she felt weird, like something would happen.

In chapter 3, all the thoughts about dave not having fun and having to stay home hints that soon he WILL leave and have "fun"
