Have you ever noticed the crown looking on top of the meru(its a odd numbered storied building with black sugar palm fibers roof that shaped like a mountain) in the temples. There were 4 creatures head(same one) which made the shape of the crown. its a bird head/ snake/ dragon head/ scorpion tail. May i know what its means?

There was also one thing i noticed is that on top of the meru in the inner section of tanah lot, its top is a stone crown with no color and a crystal shaped like bulb or water droplet on it. May i know why it is different from the other temples' meru. It is dragon's head for Besakih's meru, a bird head in gunung kawi.
