Has anyone seen arms (e.g. Sharps carbines) or equipment (cartridge boxes, belts, military gear, etc) attributed to Oregon Volunteer Cavalry? Have you seen equipment with distinctive unit markings? Was the designation OCV [Oregon Cavalry Volunteers], OVC [Oregon Volunteer Cavalry], or COV [Cavalry, Oregon Volunteer]? I'm working on an article and would love to find examples of arms and equipage and an image of a Oregon Volunteer in uniform. Does such things exist?
