We are happy to inform that from 3 February 2009, hospitalized children will be accommodated in our new pediatric wing.
This brand new hospitalization sector is located on the fourth floor of the hospital and can be reached by elevator from the specialist consultation rooms.
This 7 beds unit is specially designed and decorated for kids, aiming at minimizing their anxiety and offering as a relaxed and pleasant stay as possible.
In 2008, our pediatric unit received 1.220 hospitalizations, accounting for 17.4 % of total patients admitted at the Hospital. To better serve our patients, the pediatric expansion will offer more room at the General Ward and help improve accessibility and services for all our patients.
