Good morning from Christchurch New Zealand
I am a member of the Band 1st Canterbury Regiment(retired)I have been asked to researchthe history of the band on behalf of theRegiment Asso.
On opening up the old Base Drum I found the name of the Person who was Adjutant in your regiment.I take it by the paper label inside the shell of the Drum that he received the Drum from the maker.
I would be of great interest to us to know the history of how the drum ended up in New Zealand.
