Friends/Experts:
We must establish a new septic system leech field and will have ten+ crepe myrtle(lagerstroemia indica) trees in this new area. IF considered "deep-root" trees, closer then 10 feet to the field's perimeter, I am required to remove them. Several of them will be closer! Can anyone help me determine their root pattern?
If NOT deep-rooted (We're praying!) I would appreciate a document-able reference to present to the "Authorities," who pretend to know all, but do nothing of any observable worth.
Many Thanks!
