Maximilian I of Mexico

I understand that Maximillian enduced a number of French families to migrate to Mexico to attend the royal dinners, etc. Was a list of French families migrating to Mexico at that time preserved in France or elsewhere?

My great-grandmother was still in her teens when she came to Mexico at that time. Her family sailed back to France when Maximillian lost control in Mexico, but she stayed behind and married my great grandfather.
