For years we have applied DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) and Furazone (nitrofurazone) to help horses heal from deep tissue bruises.
I have known for sometime now that the reason for this combination is because it generate heat, thus acting like a heating pad. However I am curious as to the actual reaction that is taking place: how are these to reacting and recombining?
