For vacuum unit off gas we are using a liquid ring compressor. The liquid ring is demi water. After 5 month running the plate heat exchanger on liquid ring was broken(9 plates from 20). The pH of liquid ring is 4,5. What is your oppinion about the reason for this lower pH and what kind of water do you use?
