Hello everyone.

I am currently doing research were I need to use test liquids to penetrate a porous media. These liquids need to be fluorescent so I have been using fluorescien. My problem is that I can only get the desired fluorescent color when I dissolve it in ethanol and methanol. I need to find other fluids (not water and low surface tension) that will act in a similar way or another dye that I can use with chemicals like hexane, pentane, etc.

Any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated.
