Everything has a chemical or hormone reaction in the body. I do not understand the focus on making the pancreas work harder to make more insulin or injecting insulin into the body when it is the receptors that are impaired.

There has got to be some way to encourage, rebuild, or make the receptors function again. To reverse the insulin resistance has got to be through the receptors not pancreas.
