I have a 3 way switch that will shock me if i touch the cover screws. i checked the other end of the circuit 3 way switch ok, no shock.

i looked at a ceiling box and i saw that the conduit was not connected at the box.

can this be why i get the shock?
how can i fix this.

i do not want to rip open the ceiling.
it looks like the conduit has moved 1 inch away from the box.

can i use a # 10 wire to jump the gap and attach it to the conduit with a ground clamp?
