I have been wondering exactly the same thing.
Based on the photos I've seen of her '93 Vette, I am assuming the title was either salvaged or the car was junked. The front passenger side had major damage, which seems to contradict the idea she hit a picket fence.
I also think that maybe the car was leased and possibly by someone else. I have read Hirsch bought her the Miata she drove prior to the Vette.
If we could find a CA DMV mole, I bet we can find out what happened to her Vette.
