Does anyone know if Agent Orange was used in Fort Polk, La to kill the vegetation? My husband was in training there and he believes it was used and and stored about 5 feet from the tanks where they cleaned their M16 and M60's. He saw the barrels. If anyone that was there in 1972 and has developed cancer please contact me at onerynana@msn.com.

Yes, my husband was there from Sept. 72 to Nov. 72. He has not developed cancer, but has heart issue like the ones that have been determined from agent orange. Our daughter was also born in 76 with hydracephlus which also can be a determination. I have been going in circles since there was a fire and no one wants to admit. If you have gotten any information please contact me at my email address or my cell phone 910-494-1428

I was at Polk in 1971 and 1972. I have 6 illnesses that are on the list of illnesses caused by Agent Orange. Including Cancer, hearing loss, heart rythm problems, etc. I did not go to Vietnam so the only place could have been exposed to it was at Polk.
