Does anyone have information concerning an AEC Matador recovery wagon used from the Leicester area Midland Red garages. Beside the one based in the Birmingham area using body parts based on the C5 when rebodied, and now preserved in North Birmingham Bus livery, they appear to have had one using body components based on the C3 body. I have a very poor photograph of it in MR days painted white, and one of it partly dismanteled after being sold to Bristol Omnibus for spares. (they opperated three Matadors). Any information, especially photographic material, would be greatly appreciated.

Some has suggested it was an FWD, although Midland Red did opperate an FWD the photograph confirms that the leiceter based vehicle is a Matador by the design of the front hubs.
