Does anyone have any information/stories/even hearsay about the Water Tower which sits next to Chapman's Pond. I've managed to unearth a fair bit of information about the Pond but finding out anything about the Tower seems to be nigh on inpossible. Does anyone know when it was built? What its purpose was/is, if it is still used, why it was built next to a large body of very deep water(the Pond) or why they took the original top section off and made it slightly smaller?
