Does anyone have any information on the East Tennessee Furniture Company that became the Dame Furniture Company? It supposedly was wiped out by the Emory River flood in 1929. I have part of a piece of furniture made by the Dame Furniture Company and I would like to have some history of it. I am greatly interested in knowing what the other piece that went with the one I have may have looked like. Anyone familiar with any furniture made by them or that could connect me to anyone?

I also have a furniture item manufactured by Dame Furniture Company of Harriman, Tennesse. It is a beautiful China cabinet or buffet of some sort. Very well built on wheels with the number 1200 printed on the company's identifying sticker located on the back of the cabinet. Unfortunately, I have no information on the Dame Furniture Company. If you know anything about them, please respond. Thanks!

Hello,My husband & I have several pieces from the old Dame Furniture store.We have a dining room table,with 4 chairs.We have the matching buffet,side bar & china cabinet.I can't tell you anything about it.My husband bought it several yrs. ago from a elderly man after his wife passed away.All I do know is that it's very old.you can contact me @ lindastanley23@yahoo.com.if you find out any more info.

My parents have a matching buffet table and 6 dining chairs and table. the buffet table has a stamp on the back saying dame furniture Co. model number 368, Harriman, TN. Did you find out anything about the furniture you have ?
