Hi there!
I am a descendant of Lt. Col. Stephen Moulton. His granddaughter, Elizabeth, is my 4th great grandmother. I have her family Bible. Her father was Joseph. I have done alot of research on the Moultons. Would like to hear more from you.

Hello Jeff!
I would love to know more about your lineage as Col. Stephen Moulton is my 6th great grandfather. His granddaughter Elizabeth had 10 children and I have her family Bible. She was the daughter of Joseph and she was born in Floyd in 1801.

There is a book in the Utica, N. Y. Library "THE MOULTON CHRONICLES, also, you can Google it. This book has the family history up to my great Grandfather in the late 1800's. I,also, have a book about the Moulton family and the founding of Floyd, N. Y. The Col. was the first town supervisor. My Grandfather was the Town Supervisor in the 1920's. There is a monument park dedicated to the Moulton family in the town.

My gggrandmother was Sally Moulton, daughter of Stephen Moulton Jr. She died in 1870 in Floyd. I would like to locate where she is interred. I have searched local cemeteries with no success. I feel that possibly she is in the same plot as her father in Floyd which I understand is on private property. Do you or anyone have a list of those interred there? She was married to Amasa White who died about 1831. My lineage is: Amasa and Sally to son Warren W. White who died in Lowville, my grandfather W. Ernest White to my father Warren W. White. Thanks Al White (alwhite@comcast.net

Dear Jeff,

I have seen in this internet site, a discussion about Asa Harris MOULTON and Lt. Col. Stephen MOULTON.
I am doing an ancestry search of Asa Harris MOULTON born Mar. 18, 1808 in New York State (US) - died Feb. 8, 1884 in Ontario, Canada.
He was my great great great grand father.
Do you think that there is a connection between Asa Harris MOULTON and the Lt Col. Stephen MOULTON ?

There is a Benjamin MOULTON (born about 1778-1782 in US) who lived during at least 10 years with Asa Harris and his wife Mary MOULTON (MISENER) when they were living in Haldimand County, Ontario, CANADA.
Benjamin could be his father, his uncle or an older brother ?
I found many information on Ancestry.com but nothing more than Benjamin MOULTON.

Thank you very much for any information you can provide.

Kim
