Does a 1999 Nissan Quest have a Ford engine? I need a new catalytic converter and the mechanic is showing me a direct-fit FORD cat. He says I have a Ford motor. He got it from Nissan dealer in Calif. More than $900 a part. Can this be right -- a Ford motor in a 1999 Quest? Do I need the Ford cat?
