The concept "clade" is a confusion of the concepts "holo- and monophyletic group" as Envall has demonstrated in the scientific literature (Biol. J. Linn. Soc. 94:217-220). Fact is that "monophyletic group" is the generic concept for the specific concepts "holo- and paraphyletic group". It means that you have to restructure your definition of the concept "clade".
